peekaboo!
I have a few burns on my hands, my shirt is covered in chocolate and the kitchen is a mess. The cookies are burnt, but it's okay, we have brownies.
The weather outside may be a tad bit frightful but inside is in indeed oh so delightful. I'm grateful for a day off of work (finally) and the chance to spend it with the people (and dog!) i love, eating baked goods and watching new movies and showing off our gifts.
As much as I am enjoying today, I can't wait for tomorrow. There's always so much anticipation leading up to today that I can't help but be the teensiest bit disappointed. Which is silly. If there was a personification of Christmas day it'd be a child cowering away from me in shame, which is pointless.
I'm almost ashamed to be on the computer right now. A lovely day, it's raining. I finished registration, finally. I received my acceptance for CSUSB and I couldn't be any more excited! I plan on living in a dorm, so I finally get my freedom. The chance to go to a decent school and be on my own really has perked up my mood, I cannot wait.
